Complaints handling policy: Code of practice for patient complaints

In this practice we take complaints very seriously since we aim to ensure that all of our patients are pleased with their experience of our service. In the unfortunate event that a patient leaves the surgery feeling dissatisfied and makes a complaint, we endeavour to ensure that the complaint is dealt with courteously and promptly and that our customers’ concerns are dealt with in a caring and sensitive way.

Our aim is for all of our patients to be leave the surgery satisfied and therefore in the scenario that an individual is unsatisfied, we welcome the opportunity to resolve matters at a practice level. Inevitably, there may be scenario’s where we make mistakes, however we learn from every mistake.
