Emma then returned to her hometown, Wirral, and worked in the Maxillofacial department and completed her Dental Core Training, where she developed her interest in oral surgery and passed her exams for the Royal College of Surgeons.
She has also worked as an NHS emergency dentist. She prides herself on being extremely sympathetic to patients in pain, combining her friendly demeanour with a calm, reassuring approach to make patients as comfortable as possible in these difficult situations.
Emma’s interests have widened to restorative and aesthetic dentistry, and she is currently pursuing a diploma with Fresh Dental Institute to master this. She enjoys looking at patients holistically, with close attention to detail, creating personal, tailored treatment plans that benefit the patient in both function and aesthetics.
Outside of dentistry, she enjoys netball, socialising with friends, trying new food and travelling the world.
