Anti-wrinkle consultation
Anti-wrinkle consultation target muscles under the skin that cause lines to appear when you laugh, frown and smile. Known as dynamic wrinkles, these lines are a symptom of repetitive movements and a loss in collagen. Anti-wrinkle consultation can relax the muscles causing the lines.
Botox has more uses beyond facial aesthetics. We can use its effect on muscles to treat TMJ and excessive sweating (hyperhidrosis).
This treatment is safe and quick, usually taking just 10 to 15 minutes. It is also painless with no necessary recovery time. The effects are not immediate, but you will notice a difference within a couple of days and see the full impact in around two weeks.
As with all non-surgical facial aesthetic treatments, these effects will begin to wear off over time, so we recommend that you have top up treatments every three months. With regular use, the effects become longer lasting and regular users may be able to wait for up to six months before their next treatment.
Dermal fillers
For deeper wrinkles and lines, we use dermal fillers to replenish the collagen and hyaluronic acids that are naturally found in skin. Fillers are often used to reduce deeper folds and lines in the face such as worry lines on the forehead or frown lines around the nose and mouth. They can also be used to give facial contours a fuller, fresher look or for improving lip definition.
A numbing cream is applied and then tiny amounts of the gel-like filler use an ultra-fine needle. It shouldn’t take longer than 15 minutes and will be followed by a short massage to encourage even collagen growth.
